Moon Phases

A collection of different moon phases I have photographed in 2023 put into one artful image. The full moon is lovely and bright, but other phases of the moon are beautiful as well. The side lighting on a gibbous or crescent moon present depth and detail missed during the full front light of a full moon. I designed this image horizontally, but it also works well presented vertically.
The quote at the top of this page says it all:
“The moon is a reminder that no matter what phase I am in, I am still whole.”
I think we can all use this advice from time to time. If we remember this quote when things are difficult, and every time we see the moon, it will become like a mantra in our minds about how we are always important.
This is a very powerful thing to believe.
We always have value, no matter how inadequate we may feel.
This is a beautiful sentiment because we can be reminded of it so often; every time we see the Moon. And the Moon is visible so often throughout the month; there are times it is out during the day, at sunset, at sunrise, at night. Moonrise doesn’t always happen at the same time each day, another beautiful metaphor. And sometimes we don’t see it at all, but it is always there.
